1. X-005(1) Copy Wanting [A1], also the blank leaves [a1] and [A7-8]. To make good slight damage, a few words in a bastarda type have been pasted on the last printed leaf. Binding: Eighteenth-century gold-tooled red morocco; gilt-edged leaves; marbled pastedowns; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Size: 270 × 203 × 35 mm. Size of leaf: 264 × 185 mm. Marginal notes (some now washed) in Latin and French, including comments on the text and ‘nota' marks. On a2r a seven-line initial ‘M' is supplied in interlocked red and blue; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; capitals touched with yellow wash.
