Wanting the blank leaf [E10].
Binding: Eighteenth-century(?) mottled calf, the spine gold-tooled. ‘Thomas contra gentiles' in brown ink along the fore-edge.
Size: 242 × 170 × 60 mm.
Size of leaf: 235 × 164 mm.
A few marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, in an Italian humanist hand in brown ink.
Provenance: Giovanbattista Pestoni (sixteenth century?); inscription on [*1r]: ‘Di Giouan Batista Pestoni dal Borgo alla Collina di Casentino e suo amici'.
Below, another early inscription, completely erased.

Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled (fillets only) calf; bound for the Bodleian Library. Yellow-edged leaves, early manuscript title across the upper edge, close to the spine, in black ink: ‘S. T. De | Veritate'. Another early title, in black ink on a rectangular parchment label now pasted inside the front cover: ‘Libri de veritate catholice fidei contra errores gentilium sancti Thome de Aquino'.
Size: 243 × 180 × 52 mm.
Size of leaf: 236 × 157 mm.
Another early manuscript title on [*1r]. Early signatures occasionally visible in the upper and lower right-hand corners of the rectos.
On [a1r] a large initial ‘U' is supplied in red with reserved white decoration. Other initials, paragraph marks, and chapter heading underlining are supplied in red; capital strokes in red.
Provenance: Augsburg, Bavaria, Benedictines, SS. Udalrichus et Afra; book-plate and early inscription on [*2r]: ‘Monast: SS. Vdalrici et Afrae Augustae'.
Royal Library, Munich; Munich shelfmark, or possibly a duplicate number, ‘Inc. 688' in brown ink, on a slip inserted into the book and in pencil on [E10v].
Acquired between 1847 and c.1892, probably in 1850; not in Catalogus (1843) with Appendix.
