Binding: Nineteenth-century mottled calf, with two sets of gold fillets on the boards and gold-tooled spine; gilt-edged leaves; brown silk bookmark; bound by C. Murton. Scars of index tabs, now removed and the paper restored.
Size: 207 × 145 × 15 mm.
Size of leaf: 202 × 132 mm.
Some early signatures in brown ink are visible in the upper right-hand corner of the rectos. On [n8r] an early note in German in brown ink.
Provenance: Benjamin Heywood Bright (1788-1843); sale (3 Mar. 1845), lot 5399.
