  1. S-008(1) Copy Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled dark red morocco, with marbled pastedowns. Size: 162 × 118 × 25 mm. Size of leaf: 150 × 105 mm. Page numbers have been added to the table of contents and, irregularly, in the upper margin in an early hand in brown ink; also some corrections in the same hand. Some pen-trials on the front and rear endleaves in Fortescue's hand. Provenance: F. Fortescue (early sixteenth century); autograph on a1r and s8r: ‘F. Fortescue possidet'. Portsmouth, Roman Catholic see, Virtue and Cahill Library; cancelled book-plate with no. 9266; sale (5 July 1967), lot 37; sold for £40 to Francis Edwards.
