  1. M-262(1) Copy Wanting [*1], presumably blank. In this copy [*8], containing the bishop's letter, is on smaller paper than the rest of the book and may have been made up from another copy. A transcript of the bishop's letter, as reprinted in T. Ried, Codex chronologico-diplomaticus episcopatus Ratisbonensis, 2 vols (Regensburg, 1816), II 1073-4 no. MCXXI, is inserted between [*7] and [*8]. The woodcut initial ‘T' (sacrifice of Isaac) at the beginning of the Canon, recorded by Schreiber V 4748, is absent in this copy. The first four leaves of the Canon are on parchment. Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; bound for the Bodleian Library; leather index tabs. Rebacked. Size: 422 × 295 × 80 mm. Size of leaf: 410 × 277 mm. The woodcut of the arms of the bishop and chapter ([*8v]), that of the Crucifixion ([**1v]), and the lamb and flag ([***2v]) painted in several colours. On [**2r] a four-line initial ‘T' is supplied in pink within a frame of light and dark blue, with the area defined by the letter decorated in green.
