In this version, part of the preface has become chapter 1, and what in other versions is chapter 1 is here chapter 2. Chapters 22 and 23 (23 and 24 in the incunable) are divided differently from PL, and chapter 24 (25 in the incunable) omits the final sentence: ‘Celum, terra et omnia quae in eis sunt, non cessant mihi dicere ut amem Dominum Deum meum.' Augustini quot sunt virtutes psalmorum (PL CXXXI 142) [apparently attributed by PL to Remigius Autissiodorensis]; (iii) direction for reciting psalms, attributed to Hilary of Poitiers, with incipit: ‘Si quis vult Deum habere sibi propitium . . .', with incipits of Psalms.
